The last day of the term

September 25, 2010 · 3 Comments · Uncategorized

Yesterday was the last day of the term. Our class had PE for the first two periods of the day. We played cricket and it was great fun. I scored 19 runs and won the game. We then had recess and all had iceblocks from my friend’s mum. They were so delicious. After that we had Computers (ICT) and got to make our own artwork on the computer. We only used rectangles but we could put in as many as we wanted and whatever size we wanted. We also could only use particular colours consisting of red, yellow, white, black and blue. I really enjoyed it. We still had some time before the period was over so we got to play some games on the computer. I did story building because I love writing stories. It was so funny  how story ended up as because you started with one word or phrase, then the next you would have a few phrases that you could choose from then another word or phrase and so on like that until you get to the end. The rest of the afternoon we watched Matilda because we have been studying it in novel study. All in all I think yesterday was AWESOME!

Love reading about your last day of term. Also your book reviews. I would love to see the artwork you created out of rectangles. Also the story sounds fun – like doing a jigsaw with words and phrases!. Why is it called a blog?
Looking forward to the next one.

    Dear Zo,
This is Jess from 3G. I remember the last day of term 3! Watching Matilda was really fun and so was translating Roald Dahl’s language! I wonder how Camp and Term 4 will be!
