Yr 4 is awesome!

March 25, 2011 · 3 Comments · Uncategorized

One fabulous class + one fabulous teacher + a big heap of great subjects = THE BEST YEAR IN THE UNIVERSE. I think year 4 has been great so far. We are nine weeks in and it is already exciting. Not to mention that we’ve already been on an excursion! We have a great teacher Mrs F. She is really kind and caring. I am also making great new friends.

We have been given a wide range reading project. It is really fun. Every two weeks we have to hand in a response. There are lots to choose from. For my first one in week three I did a discussion on the topic “Movies are better than books”. I disagreed with this statement and said “Books are better than Movies”. My second response was a poster on a book. I did mine on “The Siege of Makindaw” Ranger’s Apprentice. The next one was a puppet show from a scene in a book. I did a scene from “The Siege of Makindaw”. The final one I am working on now is a work of art. I am doing a cross stitch of the Ranger’s Apprentice symbol. I have enjoyed every single one.

I’m really looking forward to next term!

    Hi Zoe,
I am glad you are having such an exiting and fun-filled year. Its great to meet and make new friends and to have so much interesting work. (Not to mention endless things about the fabulous RA!)

What are some fun things you are doing this weekend?????? Maybe you should add it to the list of fun things in year 4!

    Zoe,
Thanks for telling me about the next Wide Range Reading Project! Now I can tell everyone! Just kidding.

I absolutely loved your Wide Range Projects and can’t wait for your next one! Last for best! You have done all of them on RA. I suppose we’re equal. I’m reading RA, you’re reading Harry Potter! I also really like Mrs F too! She’s lovely.

    Hi Zoe,
I wish your enthusiasm and your passion for learning could be bottled. People would be prepared to pay a fortune to have even half of your motivation.
Keep up the great work and the great blogging Zoe!
